What’s something you wish more people knew about you?
Heather grew up in rural Wyoming and developed her love of the outdoors while primitive camping and hiking the prairies and mountains of that beautiful state. Her family moved to Wisconsin in her teen years and she quickly fell in love with Lake Michigan and the geography of the Niagara Escarpment.
She moved to the southern United States in her 20s and spent 15 years exploring the Gulf Coast region of the United States before returning to Wisconsin in her 40s. Whether it’s tent camping, car camping, van conversion camping or pulling a towable camper, she has done it all! She has hiked and camped everywhere from the Redwoods of Northern California to the southernmost tip of the Florida Keys and many points in between. Opening a retail store dedicated to promoting sustainable adventuring has been a lifelong dream. As a former science teacher, she loves sharing her passion of exploring nature with others!
